Myrick: 'Muslim Mafia' infiltrating U.S.

U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick, has penned the foreword for a new book, "Muslim Mafia," warning of a Muslim conspiracy to support Islamic terrorism in the United States.

The authors, former Air Force investigator P. David Gaubatz and journalist Paul Sperry, lay out their investigation of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Observer's Mark Johnson reports.

They charge that the group portrays itself as a civil rights advocate for Muslims but in reality has planted spies inside law enforcement agencies, placed staffers on Capitol Hill, arranged for its executives to meet with presidents, conspired with terrorists and placed jihadists in American mosques to preach hate.

Myrick, who has consulted with Sperry before on terrorism issues, writes that the authors provide proof through documents they uncovered and others recently declassified that radical Muslim agents of terror live among us and are "carrying out their subversive plan."

"America is asleep to the danger that confronts us," writes Myrick, a Charlotte Republican, "Since the 1960s there has been a concerted effort on the part of radical Islamists to infiltrate our major institutions. Front groups of terror now operate openly in our country, comprising a network of support for jihadists."

She concludes: "We Americans must wake up before it is too late!"

I'm more concerned about the Christain mafia, and proprogating war across the globe as has been done for the last 12 years.

Also concerned about Myrick zenophobic attitude and brainwashing by religous groups to believe their view is the only way.

If it wasn't so insidious, it would be laughable," CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told FOXNews.com. "What are their charges? CAIR seeks political participation of Muslims. I'm shocked."
Hooper said Sperry's efforts only proved the group's good intentions.

"The guy spied on us for months, stole documents -- and the most they came up with is CAIR seeks to work with policymakers on Capitol Hill?" Hooper said.

I thought these quotes from the article on fox were pretty poignant.

Myrick wrote the forward, not the book. The book was written by a former Air Force investigator and a journalist.

Reading the very, very, very short article would've clued you guys into this.

Also this whole concept is probably a hoax. After all, its clearly impossible that there could possibly be any Muslim terrorists who could ever want to attack anything in the United States................ (THAT WAS SARCASM)

You guys don't know what you're talking about. Sue Myrick has done more to help LEGAL Americans than just about anyone else. Why don't you read the book before you go making such holier-than-thou judgments. I personally believe things like this could be going on, and ignorants such as yourselves wouldn't see it in front of your faces until the guy standing beside you blew himself up (along with you). Wake up!

Kooky Sue Myrick. As someone pointed out, the Christian and Zionist mafia we have already and they are truly frightening. Sue, you really need to get out of Congress and write more books, not just forwards to books. Reveal your inner self. Your Bush era fear mongering is sooo yesterday. What an embarrassment she is to our district. Sue, YOU LIE!

For those who dismiss this as fear-mongering ( what do the global warming alarmists do? ) and "kooky" Sue Myrick antics,
consider Ali Mohammed, who duped the US Army, FBI and CIA and it took several years to uncover.

This is a very real possibility and any evidence that comes to light should be viewed seriously.

Are you kidding? Have the doubters of terrorist strikes all around the Globe lost it? Was 911 not a terriost act? This style of war has not just been waged on America but the World, is very real. There are Islamic training camps across the globe and yes that includes America specifically NY, SC & Ca to name some better known camps.

I can't possibly believe the ignorance in comments I have read here. You obviously have no more than a high school grade level IQ and know nothing about her background. There should be some fear in your minds as you see it on every street, every state now and it certainly is not the place I grew up in (and no, I am not middle-aged yet and have a master's degree). Do not dare criticize my religion of Christianity because it is sad that we have lost voice because we must keep quiet when "1" individual is offended by prayer, etc. What about the 98% of the rest of us who are daily offended because we can't say a prayer or something similar as we might offend that one individual. I pray for each of you and I know where I will spend eternity after I die, do you? John 3:16

Has it not been MUSLIM's in other areas of the United States recently arrested for terrorism charges? Did KSM really attend a NC university years ago before plotting to help kill Americans? Have not some of those already pled guilty as charged? If I'm wrong then who are all those MUSLIM folks sitting in our jails? Seems like she may be on target this time?

Who says Islam is a real religion in the first place? Some fool, that by all accounts was a murderer, robber, etc, wrote a book, claiming to have had an experience while alone in a cave, that caused him to be elevated to form a new "religion", and by the way, if you don't follow me, "my" religion says it's OK to kill you, and I'll be rewarded in Heaven for doing so! Islam is just as legit as Scientology, just a bunch of poor, dumb people following someone who was JUST a man, nothing more!

From Foxnews.com 10/13/09 (Excerpts & Comments):

The Fox report was about a Jihadist in NYC who created a web site advocating the killing of Jews. The first comment refers to his untouchability by the law for advocating murder.

"All innocuous speech is absolutely protected and all speech is innocuous when there is time for more speech to rebut or address it," he told Foxnews.com. "So even if this Web site were to call on Muslim freedom fighters to kill Jews, as long as there is time for someone else to challenge this with words, then the originals words are lawful."

Comment: I wonder if his web site called for killing homosexuals would the law be as forgiving?

"Every true Muslim would say the same thing," he continued. "Most people would agree that any occupied people have the right to defend themselves."

Comment: I agree, which I why we should be arming ourselves against the coming Muslim occupation of this country.

Faisal was convicted in the U.K. in 2003 for spreading messages of racial hatred and urging his followers to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. In sermon recordings played at his trial, Faisal called on young, impressionable Muslims to use chemical weapons to “exterminate unbelievers” and “cut the throat of the Kaffars [nonbelievers] with [a] machete.”

Comment: Islam is a religion of peace.

Authorities believe Faisal’s sermons influenced London transport bomber Germaine Lindsay and the so-called "shoe bomber," Richard Reid, who attended mosques where Faisal preached.

Comment: People like Faisal are one level above Neanderthals and the people they influence are Neanderthals.

She works against Latinos and now throws her 2 cents on fear mongering of Muslims. She's such a tool of the establishment.

"is there a Christian Mafia in america?"

No there are multiple ones. The Italians, Irish, Russians, etc. The difference is most of those organized crime organizations' general goals, at least in the United States, is money, profit, dollars. The "Muslim Mafia" seems to have the primary goal of mass murder.

To all the posts that focus on Sue Myrick not the content of the book: this is classic diversion. You can't talk about the merits of the book so you have to demonize Myrick. I don't care if she wrote the forward or not, what the book deals with is a serious issue.

My guess is that none of you knew anyone who died in the World Trade towers; the embassy in Dar es Salaam or Nairobi; the USS Cole.

You think the world revolves around your ipod therefore you all must still be in high school.

Read Peter Lance's "Triple Cross."
Read only a few pages. If after that you still think this is about Sue Myrick or her re-election, then go hide and let the adults ake care of this. You will only be a target.

So, this latest attempt at fear-mongering gets a forward by our own batty Sue Myrick. Guess ginning up irrational hatred toward the illegal immigrants who cut her grass, cook her food, and clean her house (not to mention building it) wasn't enough for her. Time to spread her wings a little. Fact is, we have far more to fear from our own domestic right-wing terrorists, who have been responsible for every mass killing in the U.S. since 9/11, than we do from the Islamic variety who haven't been able to muster so much as a dog poisoning even though 13 million people stroll back and forth across our southern border every year. And the terminally clueless, Sue's prime constituency, reliably lap it up. Amazing.

The fact is that there is no support network of indigenous Muslims here in the U.S. to shelter and protect would-be terrorists. They have no safe-havens, unlike European cities who have segregated them into ghettos for centuries. That's why we haven't been attacked, but that doesn't get the mouth-breathers up in a lather like fantastic stories of sleeper cells and spies. Ignorance marches on, and Sue wants to lead the parade.

They find shelter in mosques; i.e. "the Brooklyn cell."

I suggest the Muslim community and Islamic supporters read an interesting account of our history with Islam by researching the TWO wars we had with four Islamic nations when this country was formed. It is interesting to read the garbage being printed about how it is America’s fault for the war on terrorism because we are in the Middle East. Bull sh&^ and pig do-do. The first account I found is when Islamic pirates hijacked a ship in 1625 and sold the sailors at a slave auction.
I first read about the Barbary War(s) in the late 1950s, when I was in World History in high school. War with Muslim terrorists certainly is not new. The fight began even before this country was formed and lasted for 32-years! In the mid-1800s we continued to pay the Muslim terrorists annual “tribute and ransom” first agreed in the mid-1780s about $1 million—20% of the federal budget. (For fiscal year 2007, 20 percent of the U.S. revenues would equal $560 billion.)
The war with Muslim terrorists began even before this was even formed in 1776. These Muslim terrorists represented the governments of Algiers, Morocco, Tunis, and Tripoli.

Anonymous said...

Myrick is good for America. Please use facts not mindless name calling.

So far, CAIR has not challenged the veracity of the claims in Muslim Mafia. Instead, it has focused on the authors' political backgrounds and minimized the findings. "All they can come up with is that we are political active?" Hooper asked in a Politico story. "The terror threat is that Muslims are politically active?"

That seems a deliberate attempt to misstate the issue, which is not whether Muslims should be employed on Capitol Hill or anywhere else. It is whether CAIR is an honest and reliable broker for American Muslims. The record, already long and detailed before Muslim Mafia's publication, shows CAIR habitually engages in deception about its activities. The book reinforces that conclusion with internal examples.
